As the "main equipment" for forming steel cages, its technological iteration has crossed from semi-automatic to fully intelligent. Currently, mainstream models exhibit three major characteristics:
Core structure upgrade: Adopting a "dual spindle synchronous drive+circular track" design, paired with 6-12 sets of adjustable main reinforcement clamping mechanisms, integrated with Panasonic PLC control system and Panasonic servo motor, to achieve digital adjustment of main reinforcement spacing. Taking the intelligent model applied in the Fengwu Expressway as an example, it is equipped with a 15kW motor, with a rolling welding speed of 0.8-1.5m/min, and can process steel cages up to 18m in length.
Breakthrough in Welding Technology: Equipped with a dual wire submerged arc automatic welding system, the welding gun angle can rotate 360 °, combined with current and voltage adaptive adjustment technology, the weld penetration depth reaches 0.3 times the diameter of the steel bar, and the leakage rate is reduced from 15% in traditional manual welding to 0%. The fully automatic welding workstation used on the Liansu Expressway only takes 40 minutes to process a single 12 meter steel cage, which is three times more efficient than a 6-person manual team.
Intelligent control capability: Leading models integrate IoT modules, which can real-time collect 12 parameters such as welding current and rolling welding speed, and achieve remote monitoring through cloud platforms. The intelligent positioning system developed by China Railway Fourth Bureau further controls the positioning error of steel cage installation at the millimeter level.
2. Reinforcement Cage Bending Machine
Focusing on precision forming of auxiliary steel bars such as stirrups, it can be divided into CNC and fully automatic types according to the degree of automation:
CNC basic model: adopting a hydraulic drive system, preset bending angles (0-180 °) through a touch screen, equipped with multi station molds, supporting conventional hoop processing such as U-shaped, L-shaped, and circular. When processing steel bars with a diameter of 6-20mm, the forming speed can reach 30-50 times/minute, and the angle error is ≤ 1 °, which is suitable for small component factories.
Fully automatic upgraded version: integrates the integrated function of "wire rod unwinding → straightening → bending → cutting", equipped with a visual recognition system and robot sorting mechanism. The AI assisted model of Golden Crown Intelligent Technology optimizes the bending path through deep learning algorithms, identifies 0.1mm grade steel bar deviation, improves the processing efficiency of complex stirrups by 200%, and reduces the defect rate to below 0.2%.
Special adaptation capability: In response to the demand for curved steel cages in bridges, some models are equipped with 3D bending molds that can process curved steel bars with a radius of 50-1500mm, meeting the special engineering needs of continuous beams, arch bridges, and other structures.
